The QNCB has been established as the central authority for all NATO codification activities in the State of Qatar.

To achieve the highest levels of codification expertise and capability and to enhance Qatar’s presence in the global codification partnership of nations.
Our Mission
To implement the NATO codification system for the Qatari defence, government, and industries and deliver the codification benefits of a common supply language, interoperability of materiel, reduced costs and improved data quality.
Our Tasks and Duties
- Codification of materiel in the Qatar Armed Forces (QAF) defence inventory in accordance with Codification Doctrine
- Operation of the 'MC CATALOGUE' codification tool
- Codification database management and international data exchange
- Qatar related NCAGE allocation and management
- International engagement with AC/135
- Liaison with defence, governmental organizations and industries
- Codification training
